There are seven major islands in the Canaries each with their own characteristics. While Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura can easily be reached all year round with a direct charter flight from the UK, the other three islands are less accessible. There are sometimes packages offered to La Palma with flights from Gatwick and Manchester while La Gomera can be reached from Los Cristianos, Tenerife by ferry.
